Terms of use

1. The app

UCA My Files is a free file manager for Android with archive tools and connections to servers you control. It is provided free of charge, without advertising.

2. Your files and servers

You decide what the app copies, moves, extracts or deletes, on your device and on the servers you add. Only connect to servers you are allowed to use. Keep backups of important data: like any file manager, My Files acts on your instructions, and deleting or overwriting on a server cannot always be undone.

3. UCA ID (optional)

You can use the app without an account. If you sign in with a UCA ID, keep access to your email address to yourself; one person per account.

4. Messages to the developer

Please do not send passwords, keys or other secrets in reports. We may use reports to fix bugs and improve the app.

5. Availability and liability

The app works without our server. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise only for breaches of essential obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. As the app is free, liability for simple negligence is excluded as far as the law allows. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.

6. Changes

We may change these terms; the current version is always on this page. German law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
